Mobile baby

Things are no long safe in our house. Actually tings haven't been safe for a few weeks now, but now Addison has decided its time to crawl. He is still slow and shaky right now, but its a crawl, and I figure it won't be long before he figures it out. In other Addison news, we head to the hospital on Monday for the next tests/consultations for his past issues. I'll post more once we know more. At this point, we aren't overly concerned and hopefully this will put our worries to rest for a while.

Progress at the North house is good, with the final contractor project wrapping up today. I now have a nice new, leak-proof roof. The porch has been stained, and painting on that should start soon, weather dependent. Pictures will be posted as soon as I take them. Thats all for now.

Hot fun in the sun

So at the prodding of a nameless friend, I'll update those that wonder here on our news. Addison got his first real pool time in on the 4th and enjoyed it alot. He liked floating around the pool while splashing himself, and also liked when Colin would float by. Our fourth envolved beer, grilling, beer, chiping (golf), fireworks, and of course, more beer. So basicly today sucked. The weather was perfect and other then the minor mishap with the illegal fireworks, all went well.

Addison now has 4 teeth and some cute curly hair. He's also thinking really hard about crawling. Give him 5 mins, and he can get about anywhere in a room, either by rolling, diving forward from all fours, or a combo of them all. Newspaper is no longer safe in a pile on the floor, but on the plus side, it must taste good. We have our Iowa city doctor visits coming up here in about 3 weeks, so hopefully then we know the course of action to correct all of his minor issues.

Progress on the north house stalled out for about 10 days, but picked back up with the completion of the electical upgrades today, and the roof was also started today after a 2.5 week delay. I can already see this process is going to create quite the mess, but I'm just waiting until all this is done so I can start really dressing up the yard, and start the projects inside that need to be done before we can move in.
