Nope, not done yet

So no, the house(s) are not done yet. The South home will be getting the new siding starting tomorrow, which is the last major thing I need to complete before winter. There is of course the long list of inside stuff, but that can get done once the snow flies. Up at the North house, outside work has been wrapped up to meet the City of Davenport Municipal Code Chapter 8.15. Work inside has been progressing nicely since that delay. We are a few weeks (months) behind schedule, but we are still hopefull to be up into the house by Christmas.
And now to Addison news! He is almost walking now, becoming brave enough to take steps, altho largely uncontrolled at this point. His balance is amazing. We figure he'll be walking by his birthday in 3 weeks. Our only big concern at this point is his surgery, which will be Nov 9th in Iowa City. It is all out-patient, but we'll be staying in Iowa City to be near the doctors for a day or two. That aside, he's good to go. Here is a picture of him feeding himself. No box is safe while unattended.
