Christmas at Poppy and Meme's House

To kick off the holiday season Addison and Oliver went to a party on Saturday December 22nd where Santa was the guest of honor. After Santa arrived the four of us took off for Poppy and Meme's house before the terrible snow storm arrived in Davenport.

When we got to Poppy's house there was a wonderful surprise waiting for us...Douglas, Linda, and Brooklyn were there from Louisiana! We had a wonderful visit.

On Christmas Eve all of us went to Poppy's work to look at the snow plows. Addison, Oliver, and Brooklyn like the snow plows.

Later that night we had a big get-together where Addison and Oliver received a WAGON from Grandma Helen. Addison did not want to get out!

Thank you so much for the wagon Grandma. It is a present that the boys will use for years to come.

Little Snow Bunny

As you can see, Addison loves the taste of newly fallen snow. Nummy-nummy! Mmmmm...water. We needed hot chocolate to coax him inside. He loves the snow and just before coming inside he told Daddy that he was swimming.

So this year we decided to go with the natural looking icicle lights on the house. Hope they don't melt until January...I didn't get the extended warranty.
